Fair Play Policy

Capitalised terms used but not defined in this Fair Play Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose and Position

This Fair Play Policy sets out the principles governing fair, lawful and appropriate use of nyxovent.com and passthelantern.com, operated by ANGLO ASSOCIATES LIMITED.

The Websites provide 18+ digital entertainment services solely for personal recreational and entertainment purposes. They do not provide gambling, betting, wagering, real-money gaming or any service through which Users may obtain cash, prizes, winnings, payouts or other benefits having real or potential economic value.

The purpose of this Fair Play Policy is to support a fair and secure environment for all Users, protect the integrity of Digital Entertainment Experiences and platform functionality, and establish clear standards regarding acceptable interaction with the Service.

Certain Digital Entertainment Experiences may contain elements of chance, randomisation or probability-based mechanics. Such features form part of the entertainment content only. They have no monetary, transferable or redeemable value and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred, sold or converted into money, cryptocurrency, goods, services or any other form of economic value.

By accessing or using either Website, Users acknowledge that the Service is a digital entertainment product and must be used consistently with its recreational purpose, the Terms of Service, this Fair Play Policy and other applicable platform policies.

2. Nature of Digital Entertainment Experiences

Digital Entertainment Experiences made available through the Websites are designed solely for personal recreational and entertainment use.

The Service may include interactive mechanics, visual effects, randomisation, chance-based elements and other features commonly used in digital entertainment. Such mechanics exist solely within the relevant Digital Entertainment Experience and must not be interpreted as gambling, betting or an opportunity to obtain monetary or real-world value.

Coins are allocated through Access Packages following successful payment confirmation. They are not earned as prizes, winnings, bonuses or rewards through gameplay and are not issued through sweepstakes, contests, tournaments, leaderboards, giveaways or referral reward programmes.

Coins cannot be transferred between Users or Accounts, transferred between nyxovent.com and passthelantern.com, moved to an external wallet or service, sold on a secondary market or otherwise used outside the applicable Website.

Any Account activity, Coins allocation, feature access, Favourites or other progress associated with the Service exists solely within the digital entertainment environment and does not acquire monetary or other real-world value.

3. No Real-Money Gambling or Economic Rewards

The Service does not provide real-money gambling, betting or wagering.

Users do not place monetary bets or stakes in connection with Digital Entertainment Experiences. Payments made through the Service relate exclusively to Access Packages providing digital entertainment services, interactive content and platform functionality.

A Purchase is not a deposit, wager, investment, stored monetary balance or purchase of currency and does not create any entitlement to financial return based on the outcome of a Digital Entertainment Experience.

Participation in the Service does not result in cash prizes, winnings, payouts, cryptocurrency, gift cards, physical prizes, redeemable rewards or any other benefit having real or potential economic value.

The Service does not provide withdrawal, cash-out, peer-to-peer transfer, external wallet or secondary-market functionality for Coins.

Users must not attempt to create, represent or obtain monetary value from Coins, Accounts, Digital Entertainment Experiences or any other part of the Service. Attempts to sell, exchange, transfer, redeem or otherwise monetise Coins or Account access constitute misuse of the Service and may result in action under this Fair Play Policy and the Terms of Service.

4. Age Limitation and Protection of Minors

The Service is intended exclusively for persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Persons under eighteen are not permitted to access or use the Service, create an Account or make a Purchase.

By accessing or using the Service, creating an Account or making a Purchase, a User represents that they are at least eighteen (18) years old.

The Company may request information or documentation reasonably necessary to confirm age or identity where verification is required to protect an Account, prevent fraud or misuse, confirm eligibility, comply with Applicable Law or satisfy Payment Provider requirements.

Where age verification is requested, the Company may temporarily restrict access to an Account, prevent further Purchases or limit particular functionality until the verification process has been completed.

If the Company reasonably suspects that a User is under eighteen, it may restrict or suspend the relevant Account or access to the Service while the matter is reviewed. Where a User is confirmed to be under eighteen, the Company may terminate the Account and prevent further access to the Service in accordance with the Terms of Service.

The Company does not knowingly permit persons under eighteen to use the Service and processes age and verification information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Applicable Law.

5. Fair Digital Entertainment Mechanics

Digital Entertainment Experiences made available through the Service are intended to provide a fair, consistent and transparent entertainment experience within the functionality of the applicable Website.

Certain Digital Entertainment Experiences may use software-based randomisation, predefined rules, probability-based mechanics or other programmed logic as part of their entertainment functionality. Users must not attempt to manipulate, interfere with or exploit randomisation, programmed logic, technical processes or other mechanics used by the Service. Any suspected technical error, vulnerability or unintended functionality must not be deliberately exploited for personal or third-party advantage.

Where the Company identifies a technical malfunction, erroneous Coin allocation, display error or other material technical discrepancy, it may investigate and take reasonable corrective action in accordance with the Terms of Service.

6. Voluntary Use and User Controls

Use of the Service and the purchase of Access Packages are voluntary.

Users remain responsible for deciding whether, when and for how long they use the Service and whether they make a Purchase. A User may stop using the Service, refrain from making further Purchases or take a break from Digital Entertainment Experiences at any time.

A User may request closure of an Account by contacting support@nyxovent.com in relation to nyxovent.com or support@passthelantern.com in relation to passthelantern.com.

Account closure and the treatment of unused Coins, completed Purchases and any outstanding payment or support matters will be handled in accordance with the Terms of Service and Coins Policy.

The Company does not require repeated Purchases as a condition of maintaining an Account and does not represent frequent use, repeated Purchases or continued participation as a means of obtaining financial or real-world benefit.

The Company may introduce additional optional account-management or usage-control functionality from time to time. Where such functionality is made available, its operation will be explained through the relevant Website.

7. Prohibited Uses of the Service

The Service may be used only for lawful, personal and non-commercial entertainment purposes and in accordance with this Fair Play Policy, the Terms of Service and other applicable platform policies.

Users must not attempt to obtain, create, transfer, store or extract money, monetary value or any other form of economic benefit through Coins, Accounts, Access Packages, Digital Entertainment Experiences or other platform functionality.

Coins, Accounts and access rights must not be sold, transferred, gifted, traded, leased, exchanged or otherwise made available to another person. Users must not participate in account trading, secondary markets, peer-to-peer transfers, external exchanges or any other arrangement intended to create transferability or external value.

Unless otherwise expressly permitted by the Company, a User may maintain only one Account on each Website. Users must not create, control or use multiple Accounts for the purpose of circumventing platform restrictions, payment controls, enforcement measures, eligibility requirements, verification procedures, geographic restrictions or other rules of the Service.

Bots, scripts, macros, automated systems, unauthorised software, emulators or other tools intended to automate, manipulate or interfere with the Service are prohibited unless expressly authorised by the Company.

Users must not exploit or attempt to exploit software errors, vulnerabilities, unintended functionality, pricing errors, Coin allocation errors or other technical irregularities.

Users must not bypass or attempt to bypass security mechanisms, access controls, authentication procedures, fraud-prevention measures, geographic restrictions or other technical safeguards applied by the Company.

Use of VPNs, proxy services, manipulated location information or similar methods for the purpose of circumventing Restricted Jurisdiction, eligibility, age, payment or compliance restrictions is prohibited.

Users must not use unauthorised payment credentials, provide false or misleading information, impersonate another person, submit knowingly abusive refund or chargeback claims or otherwise use the Service for fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful purposes.

Users must not advertise, promote or represent the Service, Coins or Digital Entertainment Experiences as a means of gambling, wagering, earning income, generating profit, obtaining financial returns or acquiring any item having real-world value.

Where the Company reasonably suspects a violation of this Fair Play Policy, it may investigate the relevant activity and take proportionate measures in accordance with the Terms of Service. Such measures may include restricting particular functionality, preventing further Purchases, correcting erroneous Coin allocations, temporarily suspending an Account or terminating access to the Service.

Where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect Users, the Service, Payment Providers, platform security or compliance with Applicable Law, the Company may apply a temporary restriction or suspension while the relevant matter is reviewed.

Any action affecting an Account, Coins or a Purchase will be governed by the Terms of Service, Coins Policy and any mandatory rights available under Applicable Law.

8. Honest Presentation and User Expectations

The Websites are presented as 18+ digital entertainment platforms intended solely for recreational and entertainment purposes.

The Company aims to describe the Service, Digital Entertainment Experiences, Access Packages and Coins in a clear and non-misleading manner so that Users understand the nature of the Service before participating or making a Purchase.

Nothing displayed through the Service should be interpreted as financial, investment or gambling advice or as a representation that participation may result in a financial benefit.

9. Changes to this Fair Play Policy

The Company may update this Fair Play Policy from time to time where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to the Websites, Digital Entertainment Experiences, technical or security measures, platform functionality, Applicable Law, Payment Provider requirements or the Company's operational practices.

The current version of this Fair Play Policy will be published on nyxovent.com and passthelantern.com and will indicate the date on which it was last updated.

Where a change materially affects the standards governing User conduct or the operation of the Service, the Company may provide additional notice through the relevant Website, Account interface, email or another appropriate communication method where reasonably necessary or required by Applicable Law.

Changes will not retrospectively remove any contractual or statutory rights that a User has already acquired.

If you continue to use the Service after an updated Fair Play Policy becomes effective, you will be treated as accepting the revised Policy to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. If you do not agree with the revised Policy, you must stop using the Service and may request closure of your Account in accordance with the Terms of Service.
